The overall objective of God the Father is to restore His eternal relationship with mankind.
The Father’s eternal plan is for His Son to shine His light into our hearts and that plan is well under way. Through Christ’s victory over death, you who are robed in His righteousness, will soon see the Son of Man reigning over His glorious, physical Kingdom, on the world they first created! Then, following the 1,000 year reign, all believers will be transformed with incorruptible immortality, and will dwell face to face with God, where tears and sorrow vanish, forever and ever.
Be prepared for what is to come before the Son of Man returns. Start by understanding what Jesus has already accomplished and what He is going to do with those who are prepared for His return.
Preparing for End Times is like when parents acquire new things for their first baby’s arrival. Those things are likely to be of little use until the baby arrives. We are understand what is to come next and prepare for that; it will not be the same as life today!
- Creation: From before creation, God intends to have eternal fellowship with Mankind. He created the world and gave Adam dominion over it, but then Adam’s sin separated us from God and brought death. This was no surprise to God who declared that the seed of the woman would ultimately restore what had been lost – fellowship with God.
- Prophecies: God chose a people to be His own and thaught them His Ways through His Word and promised to send a Redeemer to free mankind from the Bondage of Sin. His plan is that the whole world will come to know Him through His chosen People. This has not yet been successful but God reassures us through prophecies that His will shall be done on earth eventually.
- Son of Man – the Word made flesh: God sent His Son to redeem mankind so that His relationship with them can eventually be fully restored through Him.
- Atoning Death: Jesus is the Passover Lamb lives a sinless life and His death covers mankind’s sin with His Robe of Righteous. The sinless Lamb of God then rises from the dead on the Feast of First Fruits (of the barley harvest) which is the promise that the harvest if becoming ripe. Jesus was the first eternal resurrection of Mankind and is the promise of a future harvest when He returns to claim His dominion over the earth.
- Sits in Heaven: He then ascended to the right hand of His Father where He intercedes for His Bride. When the fullness of the Gentiles comes in and the Jews call out for their Messiah, He will return to earth and take faithful and fruitful believers to be His Bride. This is the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, the second resurrection. This future event is celebrated through the Feast of Shavuot (Pentecost) which commemorates the Harvesting of the grain harvests.
- Second Coming: Then Jesus the Messiah will reclaim His authority as King of Kings over the whole earth and will establish Godly order where evil once abounded.
- 1000 Years: God’s ways will be increasingly practised by the nations for 1,000 years, bringing fruitfulness and peace to more and more nations, starting with Israel.
- Eternal Reign: Then the remaining mankind is made perfect at the third resurrection, without sin. This is celebrated at the Feast of Ingathering (of the fruit harvest in autumn). Jesus has put an end to all authority and power, and will deliver the People in His Kingdom to the Father to spend eternity with God, face to face.
