11. Eternal Kingdom

Yahweh’s promise of Eternal Righteousness. 2Pe 3:13

Overview

Yahweh creates a new heavens and a new earth and the former shall not be remembered. It will never return to the darkness before God said, “Let there be light.” It is now where Righteousness dwells permanently. It is a time of joy and rejoicing forever.
Isa 60:19-21 2Pe 3:13 Isa 65:17-19

The holy city, New Jerusalem, comes down from heaven and is the tabernacle of God where He dwells with the Lamb and His people.
Rev 21:2-3

God and the Lamb are on the throne and His servants shall see His face and reign forever.
Rev 22:3-5

Yahweh God gives light and the saved nations shall walk in His Light.
Rev 21:22-24 Luk 2:32

    Eternal Life on Earth

It is not clear from scripture what life in eternity will be like. With everyone changed to be like the Messiah, with the mind of Christ, there will be no more sin and therefore no need for any Law. Everyone will be loving and everyone will be loved in a perfectly righteous world.

It may be a perfected version of the 1,000 year reign or maybe something like the Garden of Eden restored.
Act 3:19-21 Rom 8:19-21

I am the Alpha and the Omega

At the beginning of time God, His Spirit and His Word created the Heavens and the Earth in Darkness. God spoke the Word that brought Light into the Darkness.
Gen 1:3-4

1,000’s of years later, the Word became flesh and Jesus said that He was the Light of the World.
Jhn 9:4-5 2Co 4:6

From the Beginning to the End, The Word, Jesus, the Word made flesh and the Lamb of God is the Light of the World; a world forever with God and without Darkness.
Rev 21:23 Rev 21:5-7

    Scriptural Support

Prophesied

Isa 66:22-23
“As the new heavens and the new earth which I will make,
shall remain before Me,” says Yahweh, “so shall
your descendants and your name remain.
And it shall come to pass that from one New Moon to another,
And from one Sabbath to another,
All flesh shall come to worship before Me,
says Yahweh.”

Prayed

Mat 6:9-10
“In this manner, therefore, pray:
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”

Predicted

Rom 8:20-21
For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly,
but because of Him who subjected it in hope;
because the creation itself also
will be delivered from the bondage of corruption

into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

Perfected

Rev 21:2-3
Then I, John, saw the holy city,
New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God,
prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying,
“Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men,
and He will dwell with them,
and they shall be His people.
God Himself will be with them and be their God.
