The Kingdom Comes – Overview

The Kingdom of God comes on earth

The Messiah, with His glorified saints, establish their 1000 year reign of the Kingdom of God on earth.

There are 5 main stages:
  1. Removing the rebellious wicked, leaving the rest of mankind with a genuine opportunity to choose God’s ways.

  2. Establishing His Kingdom with His glorified saints, first in Israel and then extending to all nations.

  3. Reigning for 1,000 years over mankind from every tribe, people, tongue and nation.
    Dan 7:27
  4. Judging those who refuse to join God’s Kingdom after the 1,000 year reign.

  5. Delivering the perfected Kingdom to God the Father, who then comes down to dwell with mankind on a restored earth forever.

Takeaways – 1000 Year Reign

Beliefs

  1. Removing the rebellious wicked leaves the rest of mankind with a genuine opportunity to choose to live God’s ways with His Messiah and glorified saints.
  2. Establishing the Kingdom brings everlasting justice and peace, in place of today’s chaos.
  3. Reigning for 1,000 years allows every person to experience life under God’s perfect rule and choose salvation – eternal life with God.
  4. Final judgment after 1,000 years, the consequence of their choice: eternal life with God or eternal death.
  5. Delivering the perfected Kingdom to God the Father enables Him to dwell with mankind forever on a restored earth — no more sorrow, no more tears.

Actions:

  • Reflect on how the 1000 year reign will change today’s world — justice, peace and abundance are definitely coming with the return of the Messiah.
  • Consider your role as glorified saints, equipped to live, teach, and administer with Christ among mankind.
  • When you pray “Your kingdom come,” pause and consider what you are praying for.

God’s Kingdom Covenant with Abraham and Israel

Yahweh made covenants with Abraham — everlasting promises about his descendants, their land, and through his offspring all the nations of the earth will be blessed.

The fulfilment of Yahweh’s Covenants

King of Kings and Lord of lords over the whole earth

I have set My King on My holy hill of Zion.
I will give You the nations for Your inheritance,
And the ends of the earth for Your possession.

The Messiah exercises His authority on earth.

After defeating the kings of the earth, the Beast (anti-Christ) and his armies, the Messiah reigns as King of kings and Lord of lords with His saints over the entire world.

The Messiah gathers His people back to the promised land

The Messiah gathers Israel and Judah from the four corners of the earth and returns them to their Land. This has been promised by many prophets and is affirmed in the New Covenant.

The Messiah’s reign begins in Israel

He governs the Israelites from Jerusalem, with His disciples ruling over the 12 tribes.

Nations witness the abundance and peace flourishing in Israel and yearn to be governed by their King.

What happens during the 1,000 years

The Messiah and His saints teach God’s ways and establish justice worldwide. Those who follow Him are blessed with peace and abundance but those who do not face curses and plagues.

People are living fruitful, abundant, longer lives in safety and peace. Perfect justice abounds and people learn to love one another.

During the 1,000 years Nature itself is changed. The level of fruitfulness and safety increases as the World adopts God’s ways.

For 1,000 years the Gospel of the Eternal Kingdom will be preached and many will accept the Messiah as Lord and worship Yahweh in Jerusalem. This fulfils God’s command to Adam to multiply and fill the earth.

What happens at the end of the 1,000 years

There are some who still refuse to accept Yahweh and Satan gathers them together to rebel. God deals with all of them in one swift moment.

The great White Throne Judgement

From the beginning, all those who refused to accept the Messiah as Lord will not have their name written in the Lamb’s Book of Life and are sent for destruction in the Lake of Fire with Satan, the Beast and the Wicked.

Following the Judgement

The Messiah delivers the perfected Kingdom and glorified believers to God the Father.

Then there is a perfected creation and Yahweh will rejoice in Jerusalem and have joy in His people forever on earth.

  • Restoration of Israel

    • Gathering Israel and Judah to Israel

      • Yahweh scattered Ephraim (Israel) into Assyria and exiled Judah into Babylon because of their great idolatry in the Land. Since then, the people have been persecuted and expelled from the land of Israel and persecuted all around the world.Yahweh always planned to restore Israel back into the land that He gave them. It is through Israel that He will establish the Kingdom of God over the whole earth.

      • After 1,000 years all those who still refuse to live God’s ways are removed from earth.
